ACHIEVEMENTS

 

1. The Municipal Council has formulated the Master Plan
A Municipal Development Plan (PDP) for 2.5 years has been formulated.
3. Women Development Action Plan (GAP) has been formulated.
4. Formulated Poverty Reduction Action Plan (PRAP).
5. Town Coordination Committee (TLCC), Ward Committee (WC), and Standing Committee (SC) have been constituted and functioning as per Local Government (Municipalities) Act, 2009.

6. According to the Local Government (Municipalities) Act, 2009, the Citizens' Charters are issued, Citizens' Charters are displayed in Municipal premises, and booklets are distributed among the public.

7. Grievance redressal cell with a specific scope of work has also been implemented.

8. A complaint box has been installed in front of the municipality.

9. Introduction of computerized accounting system and preparation of accounts through computers.

10. Introduction of computerized tax record system and preparation of returns through computers.

11. Introduction of computerized trade license record system and preparation of statements through computer.
12. The Municipality invites tenders for all development works through e-GP.
13. Communicate and effectively manage municipal publicity.
