VISION

 

"We want to make the municipality a modern municipality with the necessary development of all infrastructural services, quality education and health care, pollution free and environment friendly and poverty free by 2020."

 

 

MISSION

 

1. In order to build a planned modern city, under the master plan, land use planning, transport and road communication management, bus/truck terminals, roads, etc. will be constructed in the city in a planned way.

 

2. Construction of infrastructure for recreational facilities in municipal areas and construction of footpaths along with the planting of trees and street lights for enhancing beauty.

3. Development of a drainage system for water drainage in a planned manner. Installation of deep tube wells and overhead tanks on the necessary basis, and supply of iron and arsenic-free water through pipelines will be ensured.

4. Ensure and maintain participation opportunities for municipal citizens and other stakeholders, including women and poverty representatives, in all financial, administrative, and municipal service functions of the municipality.

5. Activities will be undertaken for e-governance establishment including recruitment and training of manpower, construction of municipal buildings, and information sharing with the aim of making it a financially and institutionally efficient and self-sufficient municipality.
